(the month formerly known as November) is a moustache-growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health. This November the Oilers organization joined the Movember movement raising over $25,000 for Prostate Cancer Canada. Eight Oilers players, the entire Oil Kings roster and 19 staff members spent the month of November growing moustaches while r afl football aising $25,658.-Our organization came together this month, both on and off the ice, to make a significant donation in support of prostate cancer research,- said Natalie Minckler, Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation-s Executive Director. -I-m delighted by the leadership and initiative shown by our staff and players to take action in support of this important cause.-In Canada, a total of 35,085 Mo afl football Bros and Mo Sistas participated in Movember this year raising over $6,400,000.
