MIAMI -- Rather than test the free agent market, Omar Infante decided to remain a Marlin.The organization is moving into their 37,000-seat retractable-roof stadium in 2012, and the 30-year-old second baseman wanted to be part of it.The Marlins announced Tuesday night that Infante has officially signed. Although terms weren't released, sources say the deal is worth $8 million.On Tuesday, Infante s basketball games aid he wanted to stay in South Florida."Yeah, I'm happy," Infante said. "I wanted to stay here. The organization gave me an opportunity to play every day -- that's what I want."The Marlins obtained Infante and Mike Dunn from the Braves for Dan Uggla last November.
