Team Sweden announced its roster today for the World Junior Hockey Championships this December and January in Regina and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Among the players listed were Oilers 2009 draft picks Magnus Paajarvi-Svensson. Both Paajarvi-Svensson and Lander are members of Timra in the Swedish Elite League and both are off to strong starts this season. Paajarvi-Svensson has seven goals and nine college football polls assists for 16 points in 25 games to rank in a tie for second on the team in both goals and points. He was Edmonton's first choice, 10th overall in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. The 6'1- 201 pound forward had 17 points in 50 games for Timra last season. In last year's World Juniors, he had two goals and seven points in six games.
