General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have agreed to renew their minor league affiliation with the ECHL-s Stockton Thunder for the 2009-10 season.Stockton, the Oilers- ECHL affiliate since 2005-06, have advanced to the Kelly Cup playoffs in each of the last three seasons. Last season, the Thunder advanced to the second round of the playoffs, marking the first time i college football schedule n club history the team advanced past the first round.Oilers Assistant General Manager Kevin Prendergast says, -We are pleased to once again extend our affiliation agreement with Stockton. The Thunder organization has provided our players with a positive environment, enabling them to develop as professionals.
