It-s been a while since I last wrote one of these so I thought it was about time I gave you an update. I recently came back from a vacation with my family in Cabo and it was really nice to get away. It was unfortunate that I didn-t get to go to the Worlds due to my back because that would have been a lot of fun (especially with the Olympics coming up) but that-s the way things happened. I go football bowl games t a nice little tan instead.TIME TO UNWINDI-ve started my regular workouts again. My usual workout routine is Monday to Friday from about 9am to 1pm. I take the rest of the day off and actually just got out to the golf course for the first time a few days ago. My back was cleared so it was nice to be able to swing the golf club again. I had very low expectations as far as my golf game goes b football bowl games ut I actually played a lot better than I thought I would.I-ll be spending most of the summer in Madison, Wisconsin with my college friend Adam Burish who plays for the Chicago Blackhawks. I have a wedding to go to here in Madison and then two more in Regina and Halifax so that will break up the summer a bit. I don-t like travelling that much in the summer but I-m at that point in my life whe football bowl games re a lot of my friends are starting to get married so it-s nice to get together with everyone for that.RENOVATIONS - ROOMMATESI can-t write a blog without mentioning movies so I-ll just say that I-ve seen pretty much every movie in theatres. I saw Angels - Demons by Raymond Khoury and it seems pretty interesting. Jason Strudwick which is supposed to be pretty funny. I like to bounce back and football bowl games forth between serious books and not so serious ones so maybe I-ll read that one next. Everyone likes to tease me about my shoe fetish but I have to say that summer is pretty slow for shoes. I-m wearing sandals every day and living in Madison there aren-t too many big stores to go shoe shopping. I-m just going to focus on working out and enjoying life here.
