The Edmonton Oilers have signed defenceman Josef Hrabal to a two-year NHL entry level contract.The 6-1-, 180 pound native from Prerov, Czech Republic joins the Oilers following the completion of his sixth season playing in Europe. The 22-year-old blueliner spent the 2007-08 season with Severstal Cherepovets of the Russian Superliga where he scored three goals and ten assists for a career-high 13 football facts points and added a single-season high 76 penalty minutes in 56 games.It was his second season in the Russian Superliga as he also played half a season with Severstal Cherepovets in 2006-07.
