CHICAGO (AP) #8212;The Chicago White Sox have exercised their option for $3.75million on the contract of right-handed reliever Jason Frasor(notes).Frasor combined to go 3-3 with a 3.60 ERA in 64 relief appearances withToronto and the White Sox in 2011. He was acquired from the Blue Jays withpitcher Zach Stewart(notes) for pitcher Edwin Jackson(notes) and infielder Mark Teahen(notes) on July27. In football free games 20 games with the White Sox, Frasor was 1-2 with a 5.09 ERA. He #8217;s 25-30with a 3.74 ERA in eight major league seasons. The 34-year-old Frasor is anative of Chicago.
