These two donations represent $228,837 which has been infused into community initiatives across Oil Country.The football game Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation was created in 2001 to further extend the Oilers legacy of giving back to its fans and communities. Each season the Foundation runs a variety of programs at Oilers games to raise funds which are distributed to local charitable organizations.
