Activities on the agenda included on-ice training sessions focused around skill development, off-ice information sessions covering important topics such as nutrition and leadership, and a visit from a couple Edmonton Oilers players. Oilers players Zack Stortini created some excitement on Wednesday when they dropped by to meet the school participants and si football game gn autographs. -It-s great getting out there and seeing all the kids,- said Stortini. -I remember being that age and how excited I was when the local pros came by, and that-s something I-ll never forget.- While the majority of camp participants converge from Northern Alberta, this year-s hockey school expanded Oil Country boundaries to a whole new level. William Wong, 14, joined the camp from t football game he U.K. for the second year in a row with the specific purpose of -becoming a better hockey player.- Wong said he felt very privileged to learn from the extremely knowledgeable coaching staff and to have the chance to improve his hockey skills in such a fun and rigorous environment. He also noted that he hopes to one day be back in Edmonton as a member of the Oilers. -For these kids to be able to football game come over here to St. Albert and take part in the camp, it-s something special,- said Belle.
