NHL.com recently sat with the Windsor Spitfires star left wing to ask him about his sea football west son:NHL.com: You accomplished so much this season -- World Juniors, OHL title, scoring title, a second straight Memorial Cup. Does one thing stand out to you?Hall: We knew coming in we'd have that bull's-eye, and at the start of the year we were pretty complacent. We didn't expect that, but after a while we knew every team was going to bring their -A- game and I think that was something that helpe football west d us out along the way and really helped us in the playoffs.NHL.com: What was different for you this year at the Memorial Cup?Hall: I think we were on the bench against Brandon (in the title game), and we were winning 7-1 and I thought back and I said -Look at the position we're in now. We're going to win the Memorial Cup and a month before we were down 3-0 to Kitchener in a best-of-seven (league football west semifinal) series with our backs against the wall, seemingly helpless. It just goes to show, you can never give up, you can't take anything for granted, you can't take any team for granted. We were so lucky we had such good perseverance on our team, such good leaders that we were able to fight through that.NHL.com: You were down 0-3 in the OHL semifinals to Kitchener and then you didn't lose anoth football west er game all season. Do you understand the historical significance of what you did?Hall:Just this season, Hall tied Tyler Seguin for the Ontario Hockey League scoring title with 106 points; he won a silver medal at the World Junior Championships, finishing second on the team with 6 goals and 12 points; he led the OHL in playoff scoring for a second-straight year; helped Windsor become the first tea football west m in 15 years to repeat as Memorial Cup champions; and he became the first-ever two-time Memorial Cup MVP.
